How Mira converts accounting data from Xero

Mira retrieves and sends information to Xero once an account has been linked. Some data is displayed differently in Mira.


Clients


  • Mira only supports "Customer" contacts. "Supplier" contacts will not be synced.

  • Clients are synced two-ways. Clients created in either system will be synced between each other.

Client Information:

  • Name

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Website

Example:
Alan Williams will display as Alan Williams in Mira

Contact Groups:

  • Name

Example:
Customers in Xero will display as Customers in Mira

Phones:

  • Type

  • Phone Number

  • Area Code

  • Country Code

Example:
Phone: 03-1234567 in Xero will display as Primary: 03-1234567 in Mira
Fax: 03-1234567 in Xero will display as Fax: 03-1234567 in Mira
Mobile: 03-1234567 in Xero will display as Mobile: 03-1234567 in Mira
Direct Dial: 03-1234567 in Xero will display as Other: 03-1234567 in Mira

Addresses:

  • Address Type

  • Address Line 1

  • City

  • Postal Code

  • Country

Example:
Postal Address: 40-48 Sutherland Street, Kilmore VIC 3764 in Xero will display as
Primary Address: 40-48 Sutherland Street, Kilmore VIC 3764 in Mira

Types:

  • Is Customer

Example:
Customer in Xero will display as Individual in Mira

Inventory Items


  • Tracked Quantity is not supported

  • Mira will mark imported inventory as service items. You may change their type later.

  • Inventory are synced two-ways. Inventory created in either system will be synced between each other.

Inventory Item Details:

  • Code

  • Buying Status

  • Selling Status

Buying Details:

  • Buying Account Code (Ledger Account)

  • Buying Tax Type (Tax Type)

  • Buying Unit Price

Selling Details:

  • Selling Account Code (Ledger Account)

  • Selling Unit Price

Example:
Golf Balls (buying: $100, selling: $100, Quantity: 10) in Xero will display as
Golf Balls (buying: $100, selling: $100) in Mira

  • Invoices are partially synced two-ways. Only invoices created in Mira will be synced between both systems.

Quotations


  • Quotations are partially synced two-ways. Only quotations created in Mira will be synced between both systems.

  • Any quotes synced up to Xero will always be marked as draft. You must perform a subsequent sync on the individual Mira quotes to reflect the status on Xero.

  • Payments are synced two-ways for invoices created on Mira.

  • We recommend accepting payments only on Mira. Xero allows for payment fees and overcharges which we do not support. This may cause invoices not to sync correctly.
