Mira retrieves and sends information to all accounting providers. Each accounting provider is different, and may translate or display information differently to Mira / other accounting providers.

Xero

  • We recommend using GST Exclusive tax if your business is registered for GST. This can avoid sync errors for quotations or invoices being a couple of cents off out of sync.

Clients:

  • Clients on Xero must have unique display names. Clients will fail to sync if they are used more than once.

  • Clients are synced two-ways. Clients created in either system will be synced between each other.

  • Mira only supports "Customer" contacts. "Supplier" contacts will not be synced.

  • Clients unarchived on Mira will not be reflected into Xero. Instead, clients must be unarchived on Xero for proper reflection.

  • Mira only supports syncing Primary Email Addresses. All additional email addresses will not be synced between systems

  • We recommend managing addresses and phone numbers only through Mira. Changing an existing address/phone number directly on Xero may leave the old version on Mira while also creating a new version with the updated variant.

Client Groups:

  • Changes made in Xero to client groups will not automatically update on Mira. You must intialise a manual sync using either the full sync button.

Inventory:

  • Changes made in Xero to inventory items will not automatically update on Mira. You must intialise a manual sync using either the individual sync button or full sync button.

  • Mira does not support credits or overpayments for invoice. We recommend creating the invoice directly on Xero if you wish to do this.

Payments:

  • Will only sync two ways if attached to an invoice created on Mira. This does not import any historical financial data. You must intialise a manual sync using either the individual sync button or full sync button.

  • We recommend accepting payments only on Mira. Xero allows for payment fees and overcharges which we do not support. This may cause invoices not to sync correctly.

  • Quotations are partially synced two-ways. Only quotations created in Mira will be synced between both systems.

  • Changes made in Xero to quotations will not automatically update on Mira. You must intialise a manual sync using either the individual sync button or full sync button.

  • Any quotes synced up to Xero will always be marked as draft. You must perform a subsequent sync on the individual Mira quotes to reflect the status on Xero.
