How to connect Quickbooks

Learn how to connect your Quickbooks account to Mira

Connecting your Quickbooks account will allow you to sync your financial data between both systems. Quickbooks will sync the following financial modules:

  • Clients

  • Invoices

  • Quotations

  • Inventory Items

  • Payments

Navigating and Connecting Quickbooks

  1. Login and navigate to Settings > Accounting Provider

  2. Click on Quickbooks

    You will be presented with information on each module, please read these carefully to understand any limitations

  3. Click on Connect to Quickbooks

    You will be presented with a separate login window to authenticate your Quickbooks account. If this does not appear, please ensure you do not have popups blocked.

  4. Log in to Quickbooks, including any 2-factor authentication. If you

    1. If you only have a single organisation, Quickbooks will auto-select this and redirect. No action required

    2. If you have multiple organisations, you must select your organisation within the authentication pop-up, click Next, review the data being accessed then click Connect

  5. Depending on whether you have connected an accounting provider previously, you will be presented with different information in the confirmation step. Read the information then click Continue

    1. If you are connecting for the first time, no further action will be taken


    2. If you are reconnecting to a previously disconnected provider, data will remain unaltered and your connection will be restored

      If you would like all tax and ledger settings to be reset, you may click the checkbox before continuing


    3. If you are connecting for the first time, but were previously connected to another provider, current ledgers and tax rates will be removed from various modules and replaced with new ledgers and tax rates from the newly connected provider to allow for a seamless transition

  6. Select your preferred tax rates and ledger accounts. More information on how to choose these correctly is found here. Once all have been set, click Save

  7. Click Start New Full Sync to begin syncing data between systems
