Creating your own asset template (freeform canvas)

Updated over a week ago

To create a new asset, go to Settings > Drawing Assets > Add > Create New

The asset editor will open.

Select the "Freeform" canvas size.

From here, you'll be given an unlimited canvas where you can create your own asset from scratch.

Use your toolbox of components and any other existing assets to create the template as you wish.

When you're finished, select the hamburger menu at the top left and click "Save"

For freeform assets, we recommend using the following details:

  • Label: Name used for searching for your asset

  • Code: A unique code you provide for each asset to be used in storing and organizing the assets

  • Stamping (Unchecked): Allows you to repeatably add the asset onto your drawing until you select another tool.
When unticked, you'll only be able to add this asset once-at-a-time.

  • Format (Use as image - Unchecked): The asset is placed on the drawing as a single image, rather than individually editable elements.

Click "Save".

When creating a new drawing for a Pest Inspection, select the Pest Inspection Template from your asset library.

You can then edit any element and update this drawing to suit the job.
