By default, Mira will display images on generated report PDFs at A4 print quality.
This also allows us to reduce the size of your PDFs. Printing many images in full quality can dramatically increase your PDF size.
In some cases though, you may want to display your images at higher quality if you are zooming in on the PDF on a digital device.
How to change image quality
You can change the image quality for each applicable form in the form editor.
โ
Find the applicable "Images" field on your form and click "Edit".
In the dialog, then click "Display images in full resolution on the generated PDF".
You can also adjust the grid layout for your images (examples below).
When you're done, publish the changes to your form.
Any new reports which use this form will now use full resolution images.
Image Resolution Examples
When images are printed at default A4 print quality, the image will appear blurry/pixelated when you zoom in on a digital device:
However when printed at full resolution quality, much of the detail is retained when you zoom in on a digital device:
Keep in mind that many images printed at full quality can dramatically increase the size of your PDF.
