Pricing Changes - 1st July 2023
We have been providing our Pest Control management system in Australia since August 2019. We have continuously improved our product to bring efficiency benefits to your business.
After 3 ½ years of no price increases, our costs have increased by roughly 15%.
We recently conducted a survey to understand preferences by our users as to whether they'd prefer a continued split fee or a flat fee for all staff accounts.
Thanks for all the excellent feedback we conducted about our pricing and the positive support for Mira / Pest Register. The responses were considered and practical.
We received 20 responses and found that almost all people wanted the split pricing approach to be retained rather than a flat fee.
After averaging out all the responses, we ended up with a figure of $41.16 for the first company subscription and $36.62 for all subsequent staff.
Based on this feedback and after rounding down, our new pricing will be $41 (inc. GST) for the initial subscription, and $36 (inc. GST) for all subsequent staff. The new subscription prices will be introduced at EOFY - 1 July 2023.

This release contains improvements to file management, staff, licences, and changing business settings.
Very soon we will be saying goodbye to Pest Register, and hello to Mira completely (including a new website and www domain). We will keep you informed about the finalised switchover date.
Miscellaneous Improvements
Creating an account password will now visually show you if your entered password meets our strength requirements
Cloning a report will now also clone the cover page if applicable to that form
Forms now have the capability of disabling selecting a licence when creating a report (some forms don't require a licence)
Improved the readability of some checkboxes throughout the system
Added "Save Login Details" checkbox to reauthenication dialog to help make switching between devices quicker
Settings
We've moved around and renamed some settings to help make setting up the system easier.
System Defaults > Calendar > Business Hours option has been renamed to Working Hours and been moved to the top of that tab
Company Details > Timezone option has been moved to System Defaults > Calendar tab
System Defaults > Accounting > Default Payment Reminders option will now show an error if there is a conflict between the reminder and the default invoice due date
System Defaults > Files - added new option of setting default visibility of newly uploaded files to the system
Company Details > Address option has been removed (was unused)
When creating a new Appointment Type, the shorthand name will now by default be automatically generated based on the name you enter
Style & Branding > eCard & Reviews tab has been split up into two tabs. Client Reviews is now separate from eCard details
Settings > Company Logs has been removed (details further below)
Settings > Licences has been removed (details further below)
Settings > Account Logs has been renamed to Activity Log
Settings > Import Report ZIPs has been removed (details further below)
All usages of the term "Company" have been renamed to "Business" to better reflect the businesses who use our system
Staff & Licences
Licence management has been merged into the Staff view.
The Staff list will now display the licences bound to each staff member
The Staff dialog will now let you manage and archive licences against each staff member
The Staff list now contains a button at the top right "View Staff Activity Logs" which displays account logs for all staff members (previously Company Logs in Settings)
Redesigned File Manager
We've redesigned the File Manager to make it much easier to manage all files created on Mira.
Categories:
New design with all categories displayed on the right-hand sidebar
Categories can now be edited
Categories can now contain a colour and unique icon
When deleting a category, you now have the option of deleting all files within that category too
Files:
Files can be dragged into a category via the sidebar
Files can be right-clicked on desktop with quick actions for downloading, toggling visibility and deleting
Added a new "All Files" view which displays all files you have access to
Permissions:
A new "Access FIles" permission has been added so that you can give staff members access to the file manager and only files that they've uploaded or files which are available to all staff
The existing permission has been renamed to "File Administration" which continues to allow that staff member to access and manage all files within the business
ZIP Import
The old "Import Report ZIP" dialog in Settings has been removed and collapsed into a generic "Import ZIP" button under the main file uploader
The new ZIP importer is more flexible and allows you to unzip any applicable files directly into a specific category
The ZIP uploader is available to any staff who have the "Access Files" permission
